Our client, a local authority dedicated to delivering high-quality services and innovative solutions to the community, is seeking a talented and motivated Oracle Developer.
This role is essential for developing and maintaining Oracle-based applications, ensuring they meet the needs of stakeholders and the community.
Oracle Developer The Role:
The Oracle Developer will be responsible for developing and optimising Oracle applications and databases. This includes writing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code, working with Oracle APEX, developing APIs, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams to understand and implement requirements.
Oracle Developer Key Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, and implement Oracle applications and databases
- Write and optimise SQL and PL/SQL code
- Develop applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Oracle applications
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Oracle applications
- Ensure data integrity and security within Oracle databases
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for software development
- Provide support and maintenance for existing Oracle applications
Oracle Developer You:
-Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
-Proven experience as an Oracle Developer or similar role
-Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL
-Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX)
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
-Certification in Oracle (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional)
