Role:

The successful candidate will be integral in providing expert legal advice and representation on a variety of adult social care matters. Responsibilities will include advising on safeguarding, mental capacity, and healthcare law, as well as handling complex cases involving the Court of Protection. The role demands a proactive approach to supporting clients, ranging from local authorities to private individuals, ensuring their rights and interests are upheld.

Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years PQE with a strong background in adult social care law
  • Demonstrable experience in mental health law, community care law, and public law
  • Proficiency in handling cases involving the Mental Capacity Act and the Care Act
  • Excellent client care skills with the ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven track record of working effectively both independently and as part of a team
