As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to groundwork, including hand digging trenches and assisting with other construction activities. Responsibilities:
- Hand dig trenches to specified depths and dimensions, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Assist with the installation of drainage systems, utilities, and other underground structures.
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform general groundworks duties as directed by the site supervisor or foreman.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to complete tasks within specified deadlines.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Previous experience as a Groundworker or similar role.
- Proficiency in hand digging trenches to required specifications.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Competitive hourly rate (£20 per hour).
