Operations Assistant

Assisting with the sea, air, and road freight operations, including preparation of required customs documents, invoices, Dangerous Goods and liaising with suppliers as required. Within the timeframe agreed with freight forwarders.
Assist with non-race team air and road freight operations to ad hoc events, planning, documentation, loading/ unloading as required.
Assist with budgetary requirements, record keeping helping ensure the Race Team budgets are maintained.
Looking after all relevant documents, tracking during busy European season, and inventory of Carnets.
Ensure that air freight security protocol is always followed when preparing air freight.
Planning of security training, race team H&S to fit around the season calendar, work with relevant departments and suppliers as required.
To drive Company vehicles as required in a safe and professional manner.
Computer literate with a good overall knowledge Excel for budgeting, record keeping and invoicing.
Ability to raise purchase orders and manage correct coding for budgets.
Possess an innovative and flexible approach to creative problem solving and possess the ability to work through challenges in a scientific and analytical manner.
To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
To be flexible to working hours as required.
