Location: Syon Manor College (across two campuses)
Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum, depending on experience ( not pro rata )
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

As we continue to grow, we’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join our close-knit, passionate team at Syon Manor College School, part of Options Autism.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Careers Lead to shape, coordinate and deliver a high-quality careers and employability programme across our two Hillingdon campuses. You will lead the design of a vibrant, engaging and inclusive careers curriculum, forge strong partnerships with employers and community organisations, and ensure meaningful work-related learning experiences are embedded across teaching pathways. Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive careers and work-related learning programme across both campuses
Coordinate a wide range of internal and external work experience opportunities, ensuring high-quality, safe and enriching placements
Build and maintain strong partnerships with employers, voluntary organisations and training providers
Embed Preparation for Adulthood outcomes—employment, independent living, health and community participation—through all careers provision
Oversee risk assessments, placement monitoring and ongoing quality assurance
Work with the Accreditation Lead to ensure suitable accredited programmes and qualifications are available to learners
Represent the college professionally when engaging with external stakeholders and organisations

Line managed by the Senior Careers Lead (Isleworth campus)

Syon Manor College is a new post-16 provision for young people with autism and complex needs. The college will offer a broad curriculum of academic, vocational and life skills learning including BTECs, GCSEs, Functional Skills and ASDAN accreditations which will work towards Employability or Independence and Duke of Edinburgh qualifications.
For over 19 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We are a leading provider of education for neurodivergent young people and young adults.
