School Chef Required across our Trusts schools in Barnsley Days: Monday to Friday (term time only) Hours: 7am till 2pm (hours may vary) Duties: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts Create and develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely service Maintain a clean and organized work area Train and supervise junior kitchen staff What we are looking for: Experience of working in a catering/ busy kitchen environment and complying with health and safety standards. Experience working as part of a team and using your own initiative. Effective customer service skills and being able to work to high standards. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Willingness to undertake training and professional development. What we can offer in return: Weekly pay on a Friday.
