Job Title: Estimator - Stonetiling/ Restoration

Location: West End, London

Salary: Up to £55,000 + benefits package

We are recruiting for a leading contractor who are an acknowledged company specialising in stonemasonry, providing a wide range of services spanning from choosing stones to installation, project finalisation, and subsequent advice.

They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in project evaluation and cost estimation for natural stone projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Review architectural plans and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather essential information for accurate estimations.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for natural stone projects, including materials, labour, and additional expenses.
  • Develop comprehensive bid proposals, aligning with client expectations.
  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, production, and procurement) for accurate estimations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the natural stone or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of natural stone materials and their pricing.
  • Proficient in using industry-specific software for cost estimation.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant qualification in estimating, construction management, or a related field.
