As a Safety Culture Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the forefront of driving behavioural and cultural transformation across one of the UK’s most critical defence sites. Day-to-day, you’ll lead the development and implementation of a safety culture strategy that fosters proactive safety behaviours, improves communication, and enhances performance across all levels of the organisation.
Developing and leading the safety culture strategy and communication improvement plan
Conducting assessments, surveys, workshops and interviews to measure and improve safety culture
Collaborating with leadership and frontline teams to promote safety awareness and engagement
Planning and delivering seminars, training and workshops across the organisation
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Preferred Experience Of The Safety Culture Lead
Skilled in applying evidence-based practices and safety culture maturity models
Ability to use data to drive improvement and inform decisions
Strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills to shape workplace culture
Qualifications For The Safety Culture Lead
~ Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
