About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building APIs and back end services using any language

In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust, scalable, and secure back end solutions to support our SAAS platform's functionalities. You will collaborate closely with the front end team, data engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our project's needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, and maintain APIs and back end services
  • Build scalable and secure solutions to support our SAAS platform's functionalities.
  • Collaborate with front end developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front end and back end components.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in backend development.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in building APIs and back end services, preferably with Go or C#.NET
  • Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure
  • Experience delivering pragmatic solutions and implementing iterative design approaches
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of message queue systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Understanding of front end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
