School transport driver vacancies available in the Torridge area
Due to continuous investment and expansion, Halfpenny Yard Limited are recruiting.
If you enjoy driving and are looking for part-time, employed work, then this position may be perfect for you.
TAXI TRAINING IS AVAILABLE FOR SUITABLE CANDIDATES, AT NO COST TO YOU
Drive children to school in a safe and timely manner
Maintain cleanliness of taxi vehicle (provided to you)
No previous experience as a taxi driver is required
Knowledge of local roads would be advantageous
Must possess a full, valid and clean driver's license
Manual driver's license only
An eye examination at your opticians followed by a driving medical with your GP will be required
You will be required to carry out a physical driving assessment
Once the above steps have been completed, we would then be able to proceed with obtaining your taxi license for Halfpenny Yard Limited.
You must be available for school transport hours typically from 7:30am to 9:30am and from 2:30pm until 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, school term-time only (38 weeks a year).
