As a key member of the international sales and purchasing team (food division), you will be directly responsible for a portfolio of suppliers and customers throughout the world
The role: - Responsible for buying and selling food commodities- Negotiating prices and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers- Arrange / control transport and logistics operations for international orders- Contribute to generating income and control risks by performing standard trading work- Liaise with logistics team regarding shipment and documentation- Develop relationships with existing and new customers and management of sales- Establishing commercial relationships with suppliers and customers across the world
Fluent in English to business level (written and spoken)- Additional languages such as Chinese / Mandarin - strong advantage- Confident, outgoing with good numeracy skills- Background in sales, purchasing, logistics or Export required- Able to work under pressure and independently.- Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
