Abatec is working with a Civil Engineering contractor in the Somerset area and is seeking an experienced Site Agent on a freelance basis. Our client has been subcontracted the earthworks package on a highways scheme and requires an Agent with previous highways and earthworks experience in the civil engineering sector.

Manage day-to-day operations on site, including labour/plant/materials allocation, temporary works, health and safety.

* Ensure that projects are completed on budget, within programme deadlines and to our clients technical specifications.

* Identify and manage competence of the site team to identify any shortcomings ensuring delivery of the contract, ensuring team performance on the contract

* Previous experience on highways and earthworks projects

* SMSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS Managers card
