This role offers the chance to work on both current and emerging regulatory frameworks, from supervising operational interconnectors to shaping the markets that will govern strategic offshore assets of the future. You'll have space to develop deep expertise in a technically complex and high-impact policy area while helping ensure that our energy infrastructure delivers for consumers today and in the long term.

We’re looking for someone with a solid understanding of energy policy and regulation, and the appetite to build technical expertise in a fast-moving and high-profile field. You’ll have the confidence to work independently, the communication skills to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships, and the drive to deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

We have a critical purpose to shape the regulatory frameworks that govern electricity interconnectors – infrastructure that is essential to securing energy supply, unlocking clean power and integrating Great Britain into wider energy markets. Demonstratable interest and experience in public policy, energy markets, and Net Zero.
