Calling all aspiring IT Technicians, we have the perfect role for youBaltic Apprenticeships are looking for enthusiastic, technically minded people with a passion for technology to join our clients IT team. The role will involve a wide range of duties including general IT problem solving and support, installation and configuration of hardware and software, assisting customers with product specific enquiries and troubleshooting as well as repairing products including IT and electronics equipment.As an apprentice you will be working closely alongside the Customer Technical Services Manager and the rest of the IT team to help support you on your journey as an apprentice. As well as the in-house support, you will also have access to a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships to provide you with industry expert knowledge throughout your journey, giving you all the tools to help you build a successful career in the IT industryIn this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.A Typical Day in the Job:
  • General IT problem-solving and support throughout the business
  • Installation and configuration of hardware and software
  • Assisting customers with product-specific inquiries via telephone, remote access and on-site
  • Making on-site visits and occasional stop outs will be a feature of this role so a full UK driving licence is required
  • Testing hardware such as motherboards, CPU's, hard drives and more
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.Salary, Hours & Benefits:
  • £12,675 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Pay review after 3 months

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
  • A passion for IT and Technology
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Due to the nature of this role a full UK driving licence and own transport is required
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and Grade 5/C in GCSE English
