As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the GT Enterprise Architecture team of CTO, you play a crucial role in developing high-quality architecture solutions for a range of software applications and platform products. Your expertise across multiple architecture domains enables you to promote significant business impact and contribute to shaping the target state architecture.
Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Authors patterns and blueprints to guide the implementation of technical preferences
Partner with application owners, infrastructure teams, risk, and compliance groups to understand requirements, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus on architecture and technology choices.
Influence and coordinate with senior stakeholders and technology communities across the firm to encourage the implementation and use of the technology preferences framework.
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Advanced in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architecture
Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Experience designing architecture for both on premises and Public Cloud systems
Practical experience implementing Risk, Controls and Regulatory requirements
Experience running large scale transformation programmes
