My client, an established law firm with offices across the Scottish Borders are looking to expand their team of Qualified Solicitors. The team specialises in conveyancing and other areas such as family law, preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney. They pride themselves on client centred approach and commitment to excellence, and are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, to continue delivering high quality service to their growing client base. There are excellent career and progression prospects for the right candidate.

My client is seeking a skilled Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the conveyancing process, exceptional client service skills, and a proactive approach to handling transactions.

Handle a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages.

* Conduct property searches, review and draft contracts, and prepare legal documents.

* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.

* Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing.

* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

* Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE with experience in Residential Conveyancing.

* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and legal documentation.

* Proficiency in using conveyancing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
