Installation Engineer When you join our Engineering Team at Telent, you'll be empowered to innovate and drive common solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of the impact their work makes. Reporting to the Installation Manager, the Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation and configuration of comms equipment (CCTV / PAVA systems, etc.) as well as the successful witnessing of project installations at Hinkley Point C (HPC) Nuclear Power Station in Somerset. What youll do: Work as part of a team to prestage and configure nonpassive equipment within the Dunball Warehouse facility Assist with and carry out building, stripping, and packaging equipment for delivery to site (DTS) Collaborate onsite with 3rd parties to ensure rightfirsttime installation and commissioning of all equipment and networks Witness and report on 3rd party installations, providing progress updates to the Installation Manager Develop and maintain health & safety awareness onsite and report hazards as appropriate Consider health & safety issues, hazards, and risks as an integral part of daytoday work, seeking to minimise risks wherever possible Ensure Telent's and the project's Quality, H&S, Environmental, and Security procedures are adopted and implemented Who you are: You will have a background in Engineering (ideally within Electrical, Communications, Installation, or Commissioning, although other industries will be considered) or hold a relevant Engineering qualification and be eager to launch your career in the industry. Youre motivated, collaborative, and driven to deliver highquality work while continually developing your skills. Key Requirements: Engineering experience or relevant Engineering qualification Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and technical drawings Installation or commissioning experience is desirable Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required Ideally based within a commutable distance to Dunball and HPC What we offer: A career at Telent can span many sectors, roles, technologies and clients giving you the opportunity to develop, learn new skills and make an impact.
