What can you expect?

• You perform error analysis and debugging of Linux kernels, also during operation
• You fix bugs, test customizations for operational needs and maintain downstream patches
• You work on performance and reliability improvements for specific use cases

What should you bring to the table?

• You can deal with the operationally relevant source code parts of customized Linux kernels, whose upstream consists of millions of lines of code in total
• You have a master's degree in computer science with a focus on operating systems or a comparable degree
• You have experience with the languages and development tools of the Linux kernel as well as knowledge of the structure of Linux kernels and the tasks of operationally relevant components
• You show a long-term willingness to learn in the field, enjoy working in a team and are enthusiastic about open source and the Linux kernel
