Our client is a large law firm that requires a new Technology Support Service Supervisor. Managing a team of 5, all based in the UK, providing IT Support (1st, 2nd and AV) to users internally. The Technical Support team is separate from the 24/7 service desk for the firm and focuses on building relationships with users and being in the office to support and assist the firm with projects and BAU support.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling team resources - defining team goals and objectives inline with projects
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, coaching and managing performance
  • Supporting the Manager of Technology in projects set by the Global Services Office

Experience required;

  • Leadership and supervising experience teams within an IT customer support environment
  • Demonstrate service management and delivery management skills
  • Technology systems and service delivery management experience (ITIL)
  • Display expert knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite and legal vertical market systems (e.g. DMS, time recording systems), as well as knowledge and proficiency in managing the support of mobile devices (e.g. Smartphones, tablets, Mi-Fis), MDM systems (e.g. BES, BlackBerry Work, Microsoft Intune) and communication technologies
