Religious Studies Teaching role in Bournemouth School Starting September 2024 – Long Term Contract until July 2025 Pay – £150 - £220 per day Location – Bournemouth Hours - 8:00am – 4:00pm Temporary Full-Time Position: Religious Studies Teacher Location: Bournemouth Overview: Supply Desk is partnering with a highly regarded Secondary School located near central Bournemouth, seeking a dedicated full-time RE teacher to start in September. This is a long-term contract, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be teaching RE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with ample time allocated for planning and marking. The school is looking for someone with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a positive approach to teaching and relationship-building. This role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced RE teachers. The school is also open to considering unqualified or non-specialist teachers with relevant experience in teaching RE at KS3 and KS4. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging RE lessons that facilitate understanding and appreciation of different cultures and religions. Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students. Assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities.
