About the Company
A well-established refurbishment/fitout contractor based in the SE London area seek an experienced contracts manager to join the team based on the continued success of the business. Working across a number of sectors, including healthcare, education, pharma and commercial, they focus on projects of between £2 - 10 million with a longstanding list of retained clients. Projects are typically the more complex refurbishment schemes, Cat/B/Cut and carve/design and build fitouts etc, and they are extremely busy with well over 20 projects across the city and the south south-east.
About the Role
As Contracts manager, you will lead an experienced team of surveyors, managers and support staff across 2 to 3 schemes depending on size. You will be the liaison between site and office/external consultant reporting monthly on progress and highlighting potential issues on your schemes. You will monitor programs and amend as necessary, be the main client liaison and Be ultimately responsible for quality and health and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead an experienced team of surveyors, managers, and support staff across 2 to 3 schemes.
- Liaise between site and office/external consultant, reporting monthly on progress and highlighting potential issues.
- Monitor programs and amend as necessary.
- Be the main client liaison.
- Be ultimately responsible for quality and health and safety.
Required Skills
You will be an experienced contracts manager with a background in refurbishment/interior fitout or general main contracting. You be fully i/t literate, be comfortable generating reports and assisting with programming and be comfortable working between London and Croydon area.
Pay range and compensation package
You will earn a competitive salary and package including car/travel allowance and bonus.
