Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be working with out clients out in Penicuik to welcome a maternity cover Finance Manager to their team. This role will be working closely with the Head of Finance and will support 3 junior employees.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation of management accounts to trial balance.
- Responsible for monthly analysis of actuals versus budget, prior year, forecast.
- Responsible for leading and coaching the team on accurate analysis and insightful reporting on the management accounts.
- Review and improve balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure accruals completeness, cut-off and review contracts for proper accounting considerations.
- Responsible for compliance with local laws, taxes, VAT, and other regulations.
- Full ownership of internal controls matrix, adherence and compliance.
- Drive and organise the team to deliver reporting timely to group and local. This includes monthly management reporting, quarterly forecasting, and on-going forecasting/reviews with the business.
Qualifications
- Qualified or QBE
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management
- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain backgrounds preferred.
