Insight Investment is looking for a Data Analyst to join the Performance Team in London. In this role, you will be providing technical expertise in sourcing, preparing and visualising data with the Performance Monitoring team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and enhance data solutions developed within the performance team
  • Working directly with performance analysts, develop and enhance data visualisation solutions used by performance analysts and their internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and develop solutions for the Data Management Office to acquire, transform and quality control data supporting the performance team’s business intelligence dashboards
  • Partner with DMO data stewards to ensure alignment and usage of strategic data solutions
  • Coaching/train other members of the performance team in using self-service data preparation tools following best practices in data management

Experience Required

  • Experience in acquiring and preparing data for interactive data visualisation dashboards
  • ‘Hands on Keyboard’ experience using data automation tools e.g. DataIKU, Alteryx, Tableau prep etc.
  • Ability to support and evolve python code
  • Familiarity in working within Agile methods and iterative delivery of project work
  • Collecting user requirements and supporting adoption of data solutions
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Good stakeholder management and design thinking skills
  • Building effective relationships within and across IT teams
