Our client, is a leading global consulting firm specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services. With a track record of delivering strategic insights and value-added solutions to clients across industries, they are a dedicated to helping organisations navigate complex transactions and achieve their growth objectives.

Job Description:

As a Valuations Senior Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in their advisory global consulting team based in London. You will lead and oversee the valuation process for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing critical insights and recommendations to support their strategic decision-making initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Valuation Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modelling to determine the value of target companies, assets, and liabilities involved in M&A transactions.
  2. Due Diligence: Lead due diligence efforts by assessing the financial health, performance drivers, and risk factors of target entities.
  3. Financial Modelling: Develop complex financial models to analyse various scenarios, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), precedent transactions, and sensitivity analysis.
  4. Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting valuation findings, insights, and recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders.
  5. Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance on valuation methodologies, best practices, and industry trends.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other teams, including M&A advisory, financial advisory, legal, and tax, to deliver integrated solutions and maximize value for clients.
  7. Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends impacting valuation practices, contributing to thought leadership initiatives and publications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CFA, ACA, or ACCA highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in valuation, financial analysis, or investment banking, with a focus on M&A transactions.
  • Proven track record of leading and executing complex valuation assignments for global clients across industries.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuation methodologies, and industry research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
