Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to lead the design and development of our cross-platform mobile applications and their backend services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mobile development using NativeScript and extensive experience in building robust, scalable backend systems with Java and GraphQL. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture of our mobile solutions, ensuring they are performant, secure, and aligned with our business goals. Key Responsibilities Architectural Design: Lead the architectural design of our mobile applications using NativeScript, ensuring a reusable and maintainable codebase for both iOS and Android platforms. Backend Services: Design and oversee the development of scalable and efficient backend services using Java and GraphQL to support our mobile and web applications. Microservices Architecture: Drive the design and implementation of microservices-based architectures, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security of our backend systems. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mobile and backend development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.[2] Code Quality: Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in both the mobile application and backend services to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience. Technology Evaluation: Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in mobile and backend technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and frameworks to enhance our development process. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the application architecture, including design documents, diagrams, and best practices.[3] Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.[2] Proven experience as a software architect, with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered mobile applications and backend systems. Extensive hands-on experience with NativeScript and a deep understanding of its core principles for cross-platform mobile development. Strong proficiency in Java and experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot. Experience with implementing Analytics in Mobile Applications Experience implementing Accessibility in Mobile Applications POV / POC on leveraging GenAI in Mobile application Development In-depth knowledge of GraphQL for API development and data fetching. Experience with designing and building microservices architectures.[1] Familiarity with both iOS and Android native development is a plus. Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
