Creating and managing product specifications for retailer customers, and own-brand products, ensuring compliance with relevant codes of practice and standards
Overseeing critical path task completion, meeting deadlines and KPIs while ensuring high-quality, accurate specifications
Supporting the NPD team with nutritional calculations, product submissions, and ensuring alignment between factory paperwork, recipes, and specifications
Assisting in training other specification writers and contributing to additional projects like packaging reviews and raw material risk assessments.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a background in food specifications within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Brexit coding, packaging and legal labelling, and food safety is required, with further training in these areas and internal audit experience considered a bonus.
