The ideal candidate will have experience advising private equity firms on fund formation, fund administration, portfolio investment and compliance issues. This role will provide the opportunity to advise private invesment firms on a variety of funds matters involving private investment funds focused on all major investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Advising on fund formation issues, including drafting offering documents, side letters and partnership agreemnts and negotiating with institutional investors.
- Structuring and negotiating fund secondary transactions, including fund restructurings, tender offers and porfolio purchases.
- Advising fund sponsors on operation and compliance issues.
- Advising on portfolio investment-related matters, including special purpose vehicles and joint venture arrangements, and general partner/manager compensation issues.
Qualifications:
- UK qualified associate who has trained a top firm in their investment funds team.
- Must have a minimum of 1-4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Have excellent private funds experience
