We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to cover the Bristol and South West area.

Field Service Engineer

£38,000 to £42,000 depending on experience + On call bonus

40 hours per week

Field Based Bristol and South West

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with compressor experience to join our client. Based in Bristol, this position will be covering the South West area installing, commissioning, maintaining, servicing and repairing compressed air and vacuum equipment.

Leading supplier of air compressors within the UK including servicing.

What will the Field Service Engineer be doing?

  • On call 1 in 7 (on-call bonuses provided)
  • Carry our servicing, commissioning and repair of compressed air and vacuum equipment
  • Ensure that the appropriate spares are taken to the site to complete the above on a first-fix basis
  • Ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded
  • Generate sales enquiries by identifying any faults or improvements to a customer’s compressed air system
  • Where a company vehicle is provided, maintained and cared in line with companies “Conditions Relating to Use of Company Vehicles”.
  • Develop and grow our compressor, vacuum and aftermarket business in the Midlands and South West area
  • Install & commission new compressed air and vacuum equipment to the required standard

What we are looking for in the Field Service Engineer?

  • Time-served or apprentice-trained electrical/mechanical
  • HNC in Mechanical engineering (preferred)
  • PLC Awareness and functional understanding
  • Knowledge of compressors is essential
  • PC Literate
