The Role You will be responsible for ascertaining the causes for production test failures on various electronic/avionic/electro-mechanical products and supporting technicians on the undertaking of the testing of these products where required. You will also be responsible for the setup, validation and specification of test equipment (both special to product (STTE) and commercially available) to support the testing requirements of a variety of electronic products in an aerospace production environment. About You Previous experience as an Electronics Technician, Electronics Engineer or Test Engineer, ideally within an Aerospace company but not essential for the right person. Experience working with Analogue or/and Digital electronic assemblies Experience with testing electronic circuits, fault finding to component level and writing up the engineering reports Ability to set up and use various measuring instruments commonly used in within electronics industry (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analysers, Power supplies, Frequency counters etc.) Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, circuit diagrams and specifications Benefits Overview At Ontic we care about your financial, physical, and mental wellness so we offer a range of benefits to support this, we care about what matters to you and have a valued culture of recognition and empowerment, accompanied by benefits that support work/life balance.
