Data Engineer – Hybrid Working – Woolpit - £60k 12-month FTC

The role is based in the Woolpit Head Office, and you will be expected to be on-site for three days a week. The other two days can be from home unless you prefer to work in the office full-time.
The role is part of a Change Programme where the vision is to be the leading industry partner to accelerate the UK towards net zero for their customers. The team are embarking on an ambitious business change programme with the aim of harnessing the power of our data to continue to drive the business forward and help serve their customers even better. They are at the beginning of this journey and are looking for an enthusiastic ‘ Data Engineer – Data & Business Change’ who enjoys embedding new ways of working and showcasing their skills to drive change within the business.
You will be joining a new team and will have the opportunity to contribute to both your peers and the wider businesses learning, work with our external partner to embed our data strategy and help us lay the foundations for future exciting data projects.
As part of the programme team, you will be working with other people who are passionate about bringing new ways of thinking around data to the business and will be well supported in exploring new directions of travel.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to showcase the power of data, drive change within the business, and help embed best practise.

This role is all about having the right mix of Data Engineer skills and experience together with a mindset that allows you to explore and influence how the programme can be shaped both technically and with business colleagues. Proven experience designing and implementing engineering solutions to complex problems with usage of data mining tools and techniques
