About us Ochil Tower School is a thriving educational and residential community, where 27 children and young people, aged 8-21, with special and complex additional support needs live, learn and grow together.
Ochil Tower School is set in seven acres of stunning Perthshire countryside. This enables its children and young adults to feel more relaxed and better able to forge relationships with peers and staff. This facility is for young adults aged 18 – 21 and is designed to help them so that they are better prepared for the challenges of living an independent adult life by developing their skills in learning, life, and work. The Board of Trustees have a commitment to further enhancing and developing the opportunities for the young people, the residential houses, and their plans to build new educational facilities for the school.
 
We are seeking to appoint a House Manager who will lead and manage a team that is responsible for ensuring a high quality of care is provided which meets the needs of each individual child and young person at Ochil Tower School.

You will have previously been a House Manager and/or held supervisory responsibilities as an Assistant Manager and/or Senior Practitioner, evidenced through your CV. You will have clear evidence of leadership and management within a care setting with experience in rota management, support and supervision, auditing and developing the culture and ethos of your house, in line with the values of Ochil Tower School. 

As part of the role you will hold SVQ 4 Social Services at SCQF Level 9 (Children & Young People) and willingness to progress through the Leadership and Management Award Level 10

Driving Licence

40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
