The ideal candidate will be between 5-10 years PQE with experience working within the Travel sector and you will have the management of two junior lawyers.
Working with the business handling drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial Travel Agreements; advising on joint ventures, trade promotions, supplier contracts, consumer contracts, and negotiating a variety of travel industry legal Agreements.
The Legal team is approximately 4 people in the UK, you will report directly into the General Counsel.
Advising on regulatory and corporate governance matters applicable to UK, EU, and international business activities.
Proactively managing legal risk across the business functions and developing best practice and compliance guidelines for all aspects of our business.
Monitoring relevant IT and Travel Industry developments and undertaking ad-hoc legal research projects for management, working with the leaders in the business and updating them on all legal developments.
This is a generalist Commercial In-House role.
The ideal Senior Legal Counsel will possess the following:
