Maintenance Assistant | Leading Private Hospital All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application. Berkshire Salary - £30,000 Full Time Permanent Are you a Maintenance Assistant with either a mechanical or electrical skillset ready for your next challenge in the healthcare sector? My client is a leading global hospital group who are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team at their highly reputable private hospital in Berkshire. Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and ensuring compliance throughout the hospital
  • Assisting with day to day mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks and reactive repairs
  • Undertaking PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and general hospital repairs
  • You will be on call 1 weekend in 4, with additional on call rates on top of your base pay
Requirements:
  • Experience as a tradesperson or electrical maintenance engineer
  • City & Guilds Qualification - part 1 and part 2 Mechanical or Electrical qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 - desirable
  • Understanding of Health and Safety
  • Good fault-finding skills
  • An organised approach with an ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • A passion to deliver excellent standards of work.
