Data Engineer - Bristol
We are working with a forward-thinking company to find a skilled Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing scalable data platforms for leading UK brands and furthering their expertise in data engineering.

Role Overview: The position offers a combination of home working and team collaboration in the company's vibrant Bristol office. As a Data Engineer, you will:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into data models.
Identify opportunities for data acquisition, data usage, and insight generation.
Develop data reporting to support data-driven decision making.
Build and maintain data systems and pipelines using development tools.
Ensure data solutions adhere to data governance and compliance frameworks.
Provide second-line technical support for existing data platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:
Experience with database interrogation, querying, and analysis tools.
Proven ability to architect, build, test, and maintain data platforms.
Strong proficiency in modeling business problems into data structures using SQL Server.
Experience with ETL processes and tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factories.
Familiarity with workflow tools like Azure Logic Apps.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Competence in data visualization using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:
~ Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203).
