JOB DESCRIPTION

In the context of its continued growth, Intuitive Technology Partner is looking for highly talented Data Architects.

Intuitive’s Data team engages in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, spanning diverse database technologies across multiple industries. The practice helps organizations understand best practices around on-premises and cloud-based database solutions, and how to migrate and/or re-develop existing database workloads in the cloud.

In this role as an experienced Data Architect, you will have the opportunity to work with our customers in variety of projects, ranging from designing data lakes architectures and recommending best practices, to databases migrations on-premises and to the cloud.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
  • 3+ years of AWS based solution as a data architect
  • 7+ years IT experience
  • 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
  • Verbal and written communications skills and ability to work effectively across organizations
  • Experience designing, building, and managing databases on Linux and Windows-based systems
  • Experience architecting highly available database systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability
  • Experience architecting data infrastructure to support ML/AI applications
  • Familiarity of agile development process

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and performance optimization of robust data architectures on AWS, including data lakes, lakehouse architectures, data warehouses
  • 7+ years of experience architecting and optimizing SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as developing and maintaining ETL processes using relevant tools
  • 4+ years of experience implementing distributed compute data technologies (e.g. Spark, Hive, Redshift) for scalable and secure data solutions, and utilizing query engines for efficient querying across large datasets
  • 3+ years of experience designing data architectures supporting machine learning and analytics platforms
  • 3+ years of experience developing and integrating APIs for seamless data access and integration across systems with multiple methods of query and processing, ensuring data accessibility, security, and optimization
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging the modern data stack, including workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, data management solutions, and open-source technologies for querying and managing open table formats (e.g. Iceberg, Hudi)
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and managing data governance solutions for comprehensive metadata management, discoverability, lineage, data quality, and access control
