Senior Electronics Engineer

A new position as a Senior Electronics Engineer is now available at an innovative company offering high-quality design solutions within Smart Metering, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, and Medical technologies. With over a decade of experience delivering electronic design solutions, the company provides end-to-end development from proof-of-concept to full production. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of technically demanding projects in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and test digital and analogue circuits, including microcontroller-based systems.
  • Capture schematics, design PCBs, and perform system simulations.
  • Investigate and implement new technologies, components, and design techniques.
  • Work closely with customers, interpreting datasheets, specifications, and protocols.
  • Create customer-ready documentation and reports.
  • Verify prototypes and support the transition to manufacturing.

The Ideal Senior Electronics Engineer Will Have:

  • Extensive experience in developing electronic systems.
  • Strong skills in schematic capture, PCB design, and simulation.
  • Expertise in digital and analogue circuit design.
  • Experience with system interconnects (RS232, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, etc.).
  • Knowledge of power supply design and high-speed digital design.
  • Understanding of wireless modules and RF (WiFi, Bluetooth, RFID).
  • Experience with FPGA, CPLD, and DSP design.
  • Familiarity with EMC testing and failure analysis.
  • Background in regulated development processes (e.g., medical devices, ATEX).
