Year 1 Teacher Job at a Primary School in Chorley, Immediate start, long-term role, competitive daily rate

Your new company
Hays education has been approached by a primary school in the Chorley area who are currently recruiting for a Year 1 teaching job. The school is looking for a teacher to come in on an immediate start and commit until the end of the summer term. You should be confident in adapting your lessons as well as have good behaviour management skills. Your new role
With this class teaching job, you will take on full responsibility for the class and so this will include planning and delivering these lessons in an engaging way for the pupils. You will be expected to assess pupil ability and adapt your lessons to suit them. You should be confident in marking pupils' work and giving feedback when required to parents. You will be supported by a teaching assistant, so you should be able to build up relationships quickly and easily.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have good knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum. You need to be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills. NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply for the role.
If you are not a qualified teacher, but have recent experience working with children, we may have other roles available for you. Upon application, we will contact you to discuss this further. What you'll get in return
