HEAD OF BLOCK MANAGEMENT Residential Estate Agency

Location: Brighton, BN1

Salary: £70k

Position: Permanent Full Time

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Block Manager for a role as Head of Block Management.

The role is for a candidatewith superb supervisory skills and the opportunity is with a progressive, well established property company.

You will be overseeing the daily management and supervision of the Block Management team, which is based in Brighton and covers the surrounding area.

Your role will be to ensure that outstanding levels of customer service are being delivered as well as being able to help your team build solid relationships with contractors, maintenance people and of course your company s team.

The role will also involve all aspects of supervision, compliance, training, development, management, complaint handling and assisting with recruitment within the department. You will have a high level of responsibility, with overall responsibility for running the department.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience is residential Block Management ideally be IRPM qualified, and have had people / team management or supervisory responsibilities as a minimum.

You will possess the skills to effectively manage and develop the team, increase the levels of service, grow the number of managed properties and the profitability of the department whilst upholding and maintaining current legislation and standards.

Skills: The skills required for this Head of Block Management role will include:

  • Extensive block management experience essential
  • IRPM qualified preferred
  • Experienced with Section 20 Notices
  • Experience in managing and motivating a team
  • Articulate and with excellent inter-personal skills
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Great telephone manner and positive attitude
  • Exceptionally well-presented, ambitious and self-motivated
  • Knowledge of Brighton and surrounding area helpful
  • Full UK Driving License essential
  • Thoroughly professional approach to Estate Agency
