Group Commercial Finance Manager

Location: Hybrid (Manchester Head Office)

As we continue our rapid expansion, we are seeking a talented Group Commercial Finance Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in our ongoing success.

Role Overview:

As the Group Commercial Finance Manager, you will be based at our Manchester head office, with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement. You will be instrumental in driving financial excellence across our business, partnering with various stakeholders, and ensuring robust financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Flow Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Operational Finance: Oversee operational finance activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Management Accounts & Board Pack: Develop comprehensive management accounts and board packs, providing clear and concise financial reporting.
  • Commercial Excellence: Drive commercial excellence initiatives, optimising financial performance and supporting strategic objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand and drive commercial success.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage relationships at all levels.
  • Operational Finance Exposure: Prior experience in operational finance within an FMCG or related industry is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
