In this role, you will be a vital contributor to the Engineering team, working to deliver innovative engineering solutions while ensuring that all processes align with industry standards, project timelines, and quality requirements.

The Role

Review engineering drawings, part reports, and procedures to ensure parts are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in line with production standards.
Create and maintain key production documentation, including assembly and test procedures, work instructions, and routings, under the guidance of senior engineers.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing and Design, to enhance production outcomes and continuously improve the production process.
Develop standard routings for various modules and product families to streamline costs and lead times.
Write detailed specifications for the design and procurement of shop tools, and ensure tooling configurations meet project requirements.
Update user documentation based on findings from the production process to reflect improvements and best practices.

The Candidate

Previous experience within the manufacturing sector, particularly within Assembly and Test is highly desirable.
A Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in developing production documentation and routings.
Excellent organisational skills with a problem-solving mindset.
Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
Experience with CAD/CAM (NX), PLM systems (TCE), and ERP systems (SAP) is beneficial.
