The Offensive Security Specialist will provide actionable recommendations to bolster security frameworks and protect critical assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across networks, systems, and applications.
  • Simulate real-world attack scenarios to identify security gaps and potential exploits.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement effective remediation strategies.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports on findings, including recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Stay updated on emerging attack techniques, tools, and trends within the cyber threat landscape.
  • Support the development of advanced offensive security practices and frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in offensive security, vulnerability assessments, or penetration testing.
  • Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies (e.g., OWASP, PTES).
  • Hands-on experience with offensive security tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate testing processes.
  • Familiarity with securing both cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GIAC are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to present technical findings in a clear, concise manner.
