About the Role of Graphics Operator at Offshoot As part of our Graphics team, the successful candidate will provide graphics operating services across a wide range of productions. This is a hybrid role with operational work done onsite and non-operational tasks completed remotely. The position also offers opportunities to travel both within the UK and internationally. Key Responsibilities · Prepare and operate graphics for live and pre-recorded productions, post-production and outside broadcasts. · Problem-solve and analyse issues in a pressurised live studio environment while prioritising work to achieve tasks and objectives within specified time frames. · Act promptly when results may not be achieved, making timely decisions and taking appropriate actions to meet tight deadlines. · Advise production staff on operational possibilities of equipment and act as a credible, informed reference point to others. · Liaise with the creative team to ensure any new templates are introduced to the playout system and tested for functionality. Experience Required · A minimum of 2 years of experience as a graphics operator in a live studio environment (essential). · Proficient knowledge of the Vizrt graphics operating system (preferred). · Experience working in sports production (essential). Key Personal Qualities · A desire to learn and work with new technologies. · Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to remain calm under pressure and work both independently and collaboratively · Strong communication and client-facing skills with creative mindset and high personal performance standards Salary: Reflective of experience. Schedule: Includes evening and weekend work. Location: UK based. Hybrid role with onsite operational work and remote non-operational tasks.
