Senior SDET - Ecommerce - £75K

Our client is a fast-growing ecommerce and retail site, based in Macclesfield and offering excellent, flexible, hybrid working.

They’re looking to hire a strong Software Developer in Test (SDET) to drive testing and QA, engineering and automation

You’ll be key in creating test solutions, building automaton frameworks (Playwright) and defining and implementing the test architecture supporting a service-based application architecture.

With this, you’ll also have the chance to lead and mentor junior team members and work with others across the business to advocate Quality Engineering best practices and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an SDET, developer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of website, mobile app and backend QA / testing
  • Strong OO programming skills
  • Great knowledge of Playwright
  • JavaScript skills would be ideal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience leading others
  • Git, SQL and Cloud experience
