Bid Manager
I am working with a leading global provider of integrated legal and business services who operate in over 30 different countries across the globe with a turnover of over 380 million last year. Delivering services across eight core sectors, their integrated approach delivers greater efficiency, price certainty and transparency for clients without compromising on quality or service.
Location
Hybrid role which can be based out of either Manchester or Leeds offices.
Duties
• Manage the bid cycle from opportunity identification, through bid production, to submission.
• Monitor competitors for new opportunities, notifying colleagues in sales, evaluating opportunities, supporting the bid/no bid process, and reporting bid statistics.
• Lean on excellent writing and evaluation skills, being able to produce compelling copy for bids and support colleagues in producing high quality bid documents.
• Read and understand requirements from high level RFP/RFIs.
• Review, improve and update bid documentation regularly to meet the current needs of the business
• Maintain a portfolio of standardised documentation, such as Bid and Content libraries which can be used when compiling written material, and proofread and edit these documents
Skills and experience
• Experience of writing and understanding bid and proposal documentation within legal, professional services, or financial services
• APMP qualification or similar
• Held relationships at all stakeholder levels across a multi-disciplinary organisation
