Vetro Education is seeking to recruit experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in SEN provisions in the Porth area. The schools support learners with ASD, PDA, Global Delay Disorder and challenging behaviour and Vetro Education is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants in or around The Porth area who are experienced in any of these fields.
As a Welsh Government framework staffing provider, Vetro Education will allow you to work in Primary, Secondary and SEN schools as well as numerous privately run education provisions across Wales.
Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term and Long Term - Monday to Friday 830am - 330pm

What you'll be doing as a SEN Teaching Assistant
Supporting and supervising learners with ASD, PDA, Global delay Disorder or Challenging Behaviour
Assisting learners at the start of the school day and when leaving at the end of the day
Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies

What you'll need to be successful as a SEN Teaching Assistant
At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings - experience within an SEN setting would be beneficial
Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
