CNC GRINDER Our client is an industry leading gear manufacturing company. Their customers are in the Aerospace, Defence & OEM markets. They are looking to employ on a full-time permanent basis an experienced CNC Grinder. This role will be based out of their workshop located in Hampshire. CNC Grinder – Offer

• £18hr to £21hr depending on experience
• Hours are Mon-Thurs 07:00 to 15:45 and Fri 06:00 to 13:00, a 40.0-hour week

CNC Grinder – Responsibilities

• Preparing the machine for grinding operations (setting)
• Grinding, deburring and polishing workpieces to bring them to the desired shape and dimensions, in accordance with the design specifications
• Mounting and dismounting workpieces for the grinding machine
• Able to use measuring equipment to check finished pieces (quality control)
• Reporting any machining or fabrication defects or imperfections
• Carrying out maintenance of grinding machine and cutting tools
• Work in accordance with the quality system and processes of the company
• Adhere to the company’s health and safety requirements and complete training as required

CNC Grinder – Requirements

• Qualification in engineering or similar field.
• 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar industry/role.
• The ability to read technical/mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge and experience of systematic problem solving.
• Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadlines.
