Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Salary: £48,000 + benefits / OT Benefits: To be discussed at interview Job Type: Permanent Location: Howton, Hereford Job Start date: ASAP Shift Pattern: Nights, Sunday – Thursday 10pm till 6am We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Hereford, who are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have experience of planned and reactive maintenance within the manufacturing / production environment. Position Overview: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be a vital part of our operations, ensuring the seamless functioning of our equipment and facilities. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and optimising our machinery, contributing to efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities for Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Building and wiring of conveyor systems.
  • Working within the existing engineering team
  • Adhering to the company’s quality standards
  • Mechanical / electrical assembly
  • Carrying out wiring and network set up.
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the company.
About You:
  • Flexible approach to adapt to changing needs of the company and customers.
  • Must be able to fault find of single and 3 phase systems.
  • Comfortable with replacing inverters/ drives and inserting new parameters.
  • Fault finding on PLC to component level (Siemens and Mitsubishi preferred)
  • Industrial electro-mechanical experience with suitable skills to transfer
  • Mitsubishi FX knowledge is advantageous.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and work well within a team.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
