The below job description will outline this position of: Electrician Typically, this person will be responsible for electrical installations on a number of different marine vessels. Working from electrical schematics as well as investigation and diagnostics of existing of equipment. HSB Technicals client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Electrician

Install cable support systems.

Fault diagnosis and repair to outboard and inboard of diesel & petrol engines.

Run and dress cabling in an extremely neat fashion

Install control cabinet enclosures

Test your own work to recognised standards

Assist other departments with their temporary power requirements taking into account electrical loads and distances involved

Assist the commissioning engineers and take an active role in commissioning equipment

Qualifications and requirement for the Electrician

A proven track record in a marine or automotive industry.

Strong understanding of 12 volt systems.

Experience with 3-phase, motors, motor starters, distribution systems.
