FIELD SUPPORT ENGINEER (M/F/D)

Our company is looking for an experienced and dedicated Field Support Engineer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic IT team at our client site in Cologne. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with relevant experience to utilize and develop their skills in a global environment. You can expect a varied, interesting and exciting range of tasks in an innovative environment.

Tasks
  • Independent support, configuration and maintenance of Windows client systems and associated applications
  • On-site user support, including the diagnosis and rectification of hardware and software problems
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation in ticket systems and other relevant IT systems
  • Collaborating with other IT teams to efficiently resolve end-user issues
  • Implementation of IT projects, especially in the area of rollout and migration of Windows clients
Requirements for
  • Completed training or studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in IT support, especially in the Windows client environment
  • Sound knowledge of the configuration and administration of Windows operating systems and common client management tools
  • Very good problem-solving skills and strong service orientation
  • Experience in supporting IT projects and carrying out rollouts and migrations
  • Team spirit, initiative and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
