There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.

Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the nursing shifts at Chesterfield secured that you want.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.

 

What you will be doing:

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) you will provide high-quality evidence-based care to men and women with learning disabilities or mental health needs , while supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork.

With Elysium, you’ll get to experience what delivering great healthcare should feel like as you make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable people in society, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated as you’re rewarded and enjoy a fulfilling nursing role.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a nurse on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Where you will be working:

Location: Newark Road, North Hykeham, Lincolnshire, LN6 9SP

You will be working at Chesterfield House, a Learning Disability and Autism service which provides care and support to adults who have a learning disability and/or mental health needs.

All services are specifically designed to provide small group or single person environments, replicating an ordinary living setting. These allow for the development of daily living skills aimed at a move towards more independent living.

You will work alongside the multidisciplinary team at Chesterfield House to provide person centred and care planned outcome focused interventions to support recovery to better health and greater independence. We facilitate engagement in the community and the opportunity to develop new lifestyle choices to improve self-esteem and confidence.
